Dog Day Care
Merridays offer a fun, loving and luxury doggie day care service, your dog will always be with his buddies as we do not take dogs on an ad-hoc basis, we run our day care service in a similar way to a nursery school model; your dog’s day care is booked in advance thus alleviating any pressure to fill a space with a strange dog in the mix, some of our dogs have been coming to us for 7 years now, many of our clients have professional full time careers, they totally rely on us for their dog’s daily care.
A TYPICAL DAY AT DOGGIE DAY CARE
We collect our day care dogs in the morning, we go for a walk, then back home to chill out for a while, we have a purpose built doggie den (part of our kitchen) with under floor heating, which provides a warm cozy area for the dogs to dry out especially after a cold wet walk, they have lovely warm clean squidgy dog beds. They have the option of being in the house, playing with each other in the garden, in the summer they can play in the doggie paddling pool, relax in the shade on the veranda or in the wooded garden area. We have an acre of garden which is fully dog fenced. Time permitting in the afternoon we often go for a walk to the woods or the field before the dogs are delivered home; happy, socialized and ready to greet you on your return home in the evening.
Should you need to stay later at work or have the opportunity to socialize in the evening you can call us to arrange for your dog to have a sleep – over, we will deliver your dog home the following evening, or, when you will next be home. This happens with some of our clients on a regular basis and we keep a supply of their food at our home in anticipation.
